Abi has been lucky enough to receive a number of nominations and awards during her time both as a student and a professional journalist.

Broadcast Journalist of the Year 2019

Abi was named Broadcast Journalist of the Year 2019 at the annual Celador Awards. The award came after her promotion and relocation to the East of England and was in recognition of her hard work throughout the year. Abi also received a nomination for this award in 2018.

Dorset Student Journalist of the Year 2017

Abi was awarded Dorset Student Journalist of the Year in 2017 by the NUJ for her radio documentary which looked at the dangers of meningitis in young people. The documentary was also then endorsed by the Meningitis Research Foundation. You can listen to the documentary here...
