During Abi's first year at university she took part in Bournemouth University's coverage of the General Election. In the lead up to the overnight programme she wrote articles for the award winning 'YourElection' website about the campaign trails and TV debates. On the day Abi began the night with the online team, but worked mainly in the TV gallery ensuring the broadcast of breaking news and writing astons for guests.
